ITINERARY PROPOSAL:

Day 1 Guangzhou – Guilin   Bullet Train No. TBA

Transportation: Air conditioned coach / Train | Hotel: 4 Star

Pick up at your hotel in Guangzhou downtown. Transfer to Guangzhou South Railway Station for your train journey to Guilin. Upon arrival, our local guide will meet you at train station and transfer to check in your hotel.

Day 2 Guilin / Yangshuo

Breakfast: Hotel | Lunch | Transportation: Air conditioned coach / Boat | Hotel: 4 Star

After hotel breakfast, transfer to wharf and start Lijiang River Cruise to Yangshuo. Enjoy some free time at West Street in the afternoon. Overnight in Yangshuo.

– Li River Cruise：Depart from your hotel in the morning. Be transferred to the Zhujiang Pier (about 1 hour drive) for a 4.5 hours wonderful cruise. You will enjoy the picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, cows wondering around on both sides of the river bank. Disembark at the one-thousand-year-old town Yangshuo in the afternoon. Have a short exploration to the old town before to be transferred back to Guilin city.

Day 3 Yangshuo / Longsheng / Guilin

After breakfast, drive to Longsheng to visit Zhuang/Yao Minority Villages, Longsheng Rice Terraces. Later, drive back to Guilin in the afternoon.

-Longji Terracd Rice Fiel：Longsheng is located in the mountainous region on the northeastern part of Guilin. The natural beauty and the colorful ethnic Chinese cultures and customs attract people from all over the world. After 2.5-3 hours drive (115KM beautiful mountain road) you will get to the Longji area, Heping Township of Longsheng County. Visit Zhuang and Yao Minority tribes villages and some families if you like. Those ethnic girls dressed in their own colors may have a demonstration on hair combing or singing and dancing upon guests’ request and gratuity. Clients will enjoy the beautiful terrace rice fields after getting to the summit of Longji (Dragon’s backbone). The terrace rice fields were first built in the Yuan Dynasty (about 800 years ago) and completed in the Qing dynasty as the crystallization of the wisdom and labor of the Zhuang people. The terraced fields are built along the slope winding from the riverside up to the mountaintop, with the highest place of an elevation of 885m and the lowest 380m. The coiling line spirals up from the mountain foot to the top, making the mountain looks like huge snail seen afar. Enjoy the hiking tours around Pingan village for the wonderful views.

Day 4 Guilin – Guangzhou   Bullet Train No. TBA

Breakfast: Hotel | Lunch | Transportation: Air conditioned coach / Train

After breakfast, proceed to visit Elephant Trunk Hill, Reed Flute Cave and China Sea Pearl Museum. After Lunch, transfer to Guilin Railway Station for your train back to Guangzhou. End of service upon arrival.

– Elephant Trunk Hill：Located at the conjunction oftheLi River & the Peach Blossom River, the whole hill looks very much like a giant elephant with a long trunk, it is the symbol of Guilin city.

– Reed Flute Cave：Reed Flute Cave Scenic District is situated on the bank of Peach Blossom River, 5 kilometers from the downtown. It boasts Karst landscape donated to Guilin by the Nature. Here is a wonderful scenic spot for people to make tour, spend leisure time and go sightseeing.
